Road Inspection & Project Monitoring by the Ga North MCE

SECOND PHASE OF ASOFAN – AMAMORLEY ROAD PROJECT.
The Ga North Municipal Assembly is pleased to announce the commencement of construction works on the Second Phase of the Asofan-Amamorley Road project. This phase is part of the Assembly’s ongoing efforts led by the municipal Chief executive of The Ga North Municipal Assembly Hon. Akwetey Agbo to improve road infrastructure, enhance drainage systems, and promote safe and sustainable transportation within the municipality.
The project has begun with drainage works; a critical component aimed at managing stormwater, preventing flooding, and protecting the road surface from erosion and deterioration. This approach will ensure the long-term durability of the road and minimize future maintenance challenges.
The Asofa-Amamorley Road is a vital access route for residents, businesses, schools, and social facilities. Upon completion, the project is expected to improve vehicular and pedestrian movement, reduce travel time, and enhance safety for road users. The improved drainage system will also contribute to better environmental sanitation and public health.
The Assembly acknowledges that construction activities may cause temporary inconveniences and appreciates the public’s cooperation and patience. Contractors have been advised to adhere to safety standards and timelines to ensure quality and timely delivery of the project.
The Ga North Municipal Assembly remains committed to infrastructural development that supports economic growth and improves the quality of life of its citizens. Further updates will be provided as work on the Second Phase of the Asofa Road Project continues.
