King Kome Multi-talented Reggae Dancehall Artist in Ghana

Enoch Adjetey Okoe popularly known as king kome is a multitalented individual that originates from Ghana in west Africa. King kome is an actor, singer, musician and a song writer whom is eager to show these talents to all people across the globe. King kome musical journey started right from the Abetifi Presbyterian Secondary School where his love for music lead him into preforming from school to school within the Abetifi- Kwahu enclave. Almost all schools that held interschool’s competition experienced his musical prowess within the year 2004 to 2007.

King kome was unable to continue his education but his love for music lead him to learn the trade from legends like Bob Marley, Peter Tosh among others. This talent was given exposure and recognition when he was given the opportunity to spearhead the reggae and dancehall nights organized at the Blacklion pub in Accra as the main DJ and MC.

A musical career spanning over 15 years has seen the release of numerous projects with his first hit sing being ‘’My turn’’ in 2011. Growth in the music industry has been steadily forward and upwards with a major hit single “Run me wrong” in 2018 which was played by DJs from across Africa such as Uganda, Gambia, Nigeria, Ethiopia, Zimbabwe and even telecasted on Kenya broadcasting cooperation (KBC) a national television stations in Kenya. In 2021 a major impact was felt with the release of the “Addicted” project that made waves all over the world with DJs and MCs from the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Australia, Guyana, St Lucia, Netherlands, Germany etc playing and jamming to the tune. This led to the featuring of the song on the famous reggaeville platform that has outdoor major talents across the world.

King kome has undertaken a number of musical projects of which some notable ones include:
Being a headline artiste to spearhead the maiden edition a major festival which was introduced in Accra named “Take me to Lascala” where people from Accra Ghana meet up with people all over the world especially people from the diaspora that are seeking to know their roots.
King kome was featured on “Cus we can” movement in Canada that saw a chain of artists coming together to reignite positivity in music.

Furthermore, in 2021, 10 Star Music and Sen Vibes 221 selected King kome, the only artists from Ghana to be put on the Kingston Dakar Riddim.

Also in May 2023, King kome has been featured in a yet to be released movie titled “The pains I go through “which also features award winning acts such as Van Vicker and Majeed Michel.
King kome is the founder and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the King kome Empire (KKE), an umbrella brand that encompasses a franchise that is specialized in creating souvenirs such as caps, socks, T-Shirts, lighters etc. King kome has a foundation under this brand called the Kingkome foundation that targets the orphanages in the country and has undertaken a lot of donation exercises that has even been recognized by awards schemes like the GOME Awards and also featured on the liontv show in the United Kingdom (UK)

King kome is a versatile artiste but is a force to reckon with especially reggae, dancehall, Afro beats and Ghanaian highlife. Kingkome is currently under the Stonefire entertainment and management.
