Ghana Armed Forces Appoints The First Ever Female As A Commanding Officer Of The Transport Battalion In The Ghana Armed Forces A Higher

 

Lt Col Justina Frimpong appointed as the first ever female Commanding Officer of a transport Battalion of the Ghana Armed Forces. Before her appointment, she was the deputy director administration at the army headquarters Burma Camp.

Lt Col Justina Frimpong is a proud daughter of Koforidua Oyoko in the Eastern Region. A product of Ghana Senior High School, Koforidua and later studied Operations and Supply Chain Management with Green Hill College, Ghana Institute Of Management And Public Administration (GIMPA). This is a brief background of this heroic woman who has raised the flag of women high through her newly appointed office.

This write-up aimed not to promote feminism but to highlight the recognizable strength of the this courageous lady who out of this male dominated country been able to attain such a higher office.
The appointment of Lt Col Justina Frimpong is a statement to any lady who finds herself in any industry to work hard in order get to make history someday to come.
